Submitted by Ted on Wed, 08/20/2008 - 9:26pm.Start at the parking area at Bottle Prairie*. Ride up Trail 450 and do the Fifteen Mile Creek Loop, return via Trail 450, and finish with the Eight Mile Loop.

Buck Creek Trail / Cougar (forum)
Submitted by Ted on Tue, 07/01/2008 - 8:35pm.It was reported to me that this past weekend that a fellow rider (Joni) was riding along the lower portion of Buck Creek (along the creek) and saw a cougar and two cubs on the trail. She was lucky to see it from a distance. It hissed at her but didn’t make any advance. She put her bike over her head and walked down one of the nearby cutoffs to the road…That would be enough to get your heart racing!
Post Canyon Ride (event)
Submitted by Ryan_K on Sat, 05/03/2008 - 5:10pm.We will ride for a few hours and wait for all riders at trail junctions. Please bring food, water, and appropriate clothing. A change of clothes for the ride home is also recommended. We should be back in Portland between 5-6pm.
We will be carpooling from Gateway Transit Center, leaving at 11am. See the map for the parking lot location, it is the one that is not near the parking garage and does not have gates. We will be at the trailhead around 11:30am.
