The bear springs trap xc race is on 5/17 (Sunday). The flyer states that you can pre ride the course on 5/16 (Saturday). I did this race a few years ago and enjoyed the trails. I was thinking about doing the pre ride since I'm more interested in checking out the trails then the race. I'm concerned that it may still be buried in snow. Does anyone know what the snow levels are like before I attempt a trek out there?

This early-season mountain bike race will be held at Horning's Hideout, located in the forested foothills just outside North Plains (only a 35' drive from downtown Portland).
