Call for Volunteers for the 2008 PUMP Swap meet

The annual PUMP Swap meet is Nov. 15th at the Friendly House and we are looking for some great volunteers to do the following jobs:

Before the Meet:

1. Marketing:  Looking for pump members willing to commit a few hours towards hanging pump swap meet flyers.  The flyers need to be hung at your local bike shop bulletin boards, at colleges and universities, coffee shops and anywhere you think bike-minded people may frequent. 

2. Marketing at bike events:  We need a few members who are attending bike events including races to hand out the flyers or put them on car windshields 

3. Callers:  Looking for a few pump members who could assist with calling vendors to interest them to show their wares and commit to renting a space at the pump swap meet. 

Day of the Event:

4. Day of swap meet volunteers: We some energetic people to set up and help the attendees.  Volunteers to be present to help during the day and some of the volunteer tasks include being a DJs/MCs, announcing the raffle winners and set up and tear down and clean up crews.
