Trail Building Class: IMBA Trail Care Crew Visit

Join PUMP and Chris King Precision Components in welcoming the IMBA Trail Care Crew to Forest Park. Trail Class in the morning will be followed by trail work in the afternoon.
Topics covered include:
- Sustainable trail design
- Basic construction
- Turns, drainage and bridges
- Trail Reroutes
- Trail Reclamation
- Rockwork
- Fostering volunteer clubs and partnerships
- Effective Use of Signage
Class Room Location: Friendly House in the West Room. It is on the corner of NW Thurman and NW 26th Ave.
Days Schedule:
9 AM - 12 PM Classroom Session
12 PM - 1 PM Lunch and Travel to Trail Work Site
1 PM - 4 PM Trail Work
What to bring:
- Writing utensil and paper for taking notes
- Gloves, long pants, boots, and water for trail work
- Sack Lunch
