RR - Powell Butte

Today, Miss Ann & I did a couple of laps around Powell Butte. Having a practice lap & a real lap enabled me to perfect my technique for my favorite trail game, "Find the Stinging Nettles". This easy game is quite the crowd pleaser due to its immediate & obvious results (compare with the original game, "Find the Poison Oak".) Even though it was early in the season, I attempted the advanced version of "What Just Crawled Into My Sock, and Will It Bite Me Before I Can Extract It?" while the bike was in motion. Thankfully that was over quickly, and the judges declined to even offer me a score.
A good time was had by all.
(BTW - there was a Whole Lotta Poachin' Goin On out there today!)
I hear ya!
Finally it's open! I love that Powell Butte is so close in. I haven't played the "What Just Crawled Into My Sock, and Will It Bite Me Before I Can Extract It?" game yet, but I have scored pretty well on both the poisen oak and stinging nettles game. Check out this trail review on Powell Butte:
